There are several beautiful walks in the area. Along with the on-site facilities and activities, there is something for everyone. You will find fly-fishing; golf; swimming and horseriding are all available close at hand.
You can visit manor houses such as Blenheim; Stanway house; Chastelton House; Seizencote and Snowshill Manor. You will also find some of England's loveliest gardens. These include Batsford; Westonbirt; Hidcote; Kiftsgate; Sudeley.
Stow-on-the-Wold is the greatest of the Cotswold communities. It stands on an 800 feet high Stow Hill at a junction of 7 significant roads, including the Roman Fosse Way. During the Cotswold wool industry height, the town was famous for its yearly fairs. As many as 20,000 lambs were sold at once.
The large Market Square testifies to the towns former importance. At one end stands the ancient cross, and at the other, the town stocks, shaded in between an old elm tree. Around the square, the visitor is faced with an elegant selection of Cotswold townhouses and shops.

For adults...

If you enjoy antiques and paintings, the Cotswolds are a genuine mecca. Stow on the Wold, Chipping Campden and Broadway are particularly worth a visit.
There are lots to see and do in the area both in regards to walking or driving. Within half a hours drive there is Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon. You can also visit the stunning Regency community of Cheltenham and the historic University of Oxford. A little further afield is Warwick with its wonderful castle and Bath.
